PROPAGATORS and PROPAGATION KITS
For roots to develop it is important the temperature and humidity are correct and the best way to provide the right conditions is to use a propagator as they are ideal for taking seeds, growing cuttings and bringing on young plants.
Available Unheated or Heated to accomodate both amateur and professional gardener.
By using a selection of modern growth aids and growing medium you will help to promote rapid, healthy plant growth.
Other matters to take into consideration:
- GOOD HUMIDITY LEVEL IS AROUND 73-83%
- A GOOD TEMPERATURE LEVEL IS AROUND 21 / 26 DEGREES CELCIUS OR 70 / 80 DEGREES FARENHEIT
- AFTER TAKING YOUR CUTTINGS CLOSE THE VENTS ON THE PROPAGATOR FOR THE FIRST FEW HOURS UNTIL YOU SEE A LIGHT MISTING OF MOISURE ON THE INSIDE OF THE PROPAGATOR, THEN OPEN THE VENTS SLIGHTLY TO MAINTAIN THESE CONDITIONS
- EVERY 2 DAYS LIFT THE LID, WIPE AWAY EXCESS MOISTURE, MIST WITH WATER AND GRADUALLY OPEN VENTS MORE EACH DAY.
- A HIGH TOP HEATED PROPAGATOR WILL SPEED UP ROOTING IN GENERAL BUT REMEMBER THEY WILL KEEP TEMPERATURES CONSISTENTLY HIGHER IN COOLER WEATHER
- AFTER 10 / 20 DAYS ROOTS WILL EMERGE FROM THE CUBE
- THE ROOTED CUTTINGS CAN BE PLACED DIRECTLY INTO MOST HYDROPONIC SYSTEMS OR DIRECTLY INTO A POT OF ALL-MIX SOIL, COCO or other.
