Ebb & Flood Systems & Flo Gro Systems

Plants grown in this method are often supported in pots, filled with clay pebbles, which are placed on a tray.

The tray is regularly flooded, soaking the clay pebbles with nutrient solution, which then drains effortlessly back into the tank, only to repeat the cycle several times a day.  

When the nutrient drains away, fresh air and oxygen are drawn to the root zone of the plants providing an excellent method of hydroponic gardening to the concerted grower.

When plants are grown in water ie. hydroponically, with the correct system installed the grower will be able to keep their plants with an unlimited supply of water, containing exactly the right amount of nutrients, a perfectly balanced pH which can be adjusted if necessary (click here) - thus enabling the grower to watch their plants grow at a much more vigorous rate throughout the crop and receive a maximum yield.
