Growing Slabs & Aqua Trays
AQUA TRAYS & GROWING SLABS
TRANSPLANTING MEDIUM FROM YOUR PROPAGATION ROCKWOOL Many growers, especially in the Netherlands, plant their transplanting cubes on into Rockwool Slabs. They then grow their plants to maturity in these slabs usually in an AquaTray which is a special Rockwool slab container. You can simply fit your own system together anywhere. Just space your aqua trays as desired on a make-shift frame and position a reservoir and timed pump with drippers close by. Insert a slab of rockwool and position the cubes as you like. Then you can either run the used nutrient back into your reservoir with guttering or let it run to waste into another tank for disposal. Slab gardens can prove to be more resilient than NFT or Flood and drain At Norfolk Lights & Hydroponics Centre, we have a selection of growing slabs and aqua trays possible for use in drip irrigation or passive systems, so, If your looking to grow using slabs or need an aqua tray, then look no further. |
