The Flo Gro is a top flooding low-level ebb & flood system which is perfect for those who want to develop specimen plants or accomodate a plant during it's entire life cycle. It is compatible with all inert growing media (including clay pebbles and Grodan Grow Cubes) and has easier access to nutrient solution than rival systems and a much more compact design.
In an Ebb & Flood system the table of the system is filled with medium and is periodically flooded with a nutrient solution, it is then allowed to flow away. The plant gets everything it requires as well as oxygen delivered directly to the root system drawn in by the water flowing away.
These freestanding units are ideal for growing either one large plant or three small flowering plants, to maximum potential with hydroponics.
Clay pebbles support the roots and nutrient is drip fed from above, offering good plant support and a high level of aeration.
