Bio Crop and Bio Roots are plant improvers designed to improve both the quality and quantity of crops. Bio Roots improves root and root hair growth.
Bio Crop improves the uptake of magnesium, Calcium, Phosphates and iorn. A better uptake of magnesium and iorn leads to increased cholorophyll production in the leaves. Increased levels of chlorophyll lead to an increase in plant photosynthesis, and this results in an increase in the amount of sugar (energy) present in the plant. It is this sugar-surplus which ensures a better crop yield.
A healthy plant is able to form a better waxy cuticle on the surface of its leaves. This waxy surface gives the plant better protection against attack by mildew and insects.
Better uptake of calcium and silicon results in stronger plant cell walls. Stronger cell walls ensure that the plant can whithstand wide fluctuations in enviromental conditions and that cells don't rupture.
The increase in chlorophyll can be seen if treated and untreated leaves are compared by holding them up to light. The treated leaf will appears to be thicker and greener. The increase in chlorophyll can also be checked by using a "Brix meter" also known as a "Refractometer". These meter measure the sugar content in the leaf. Improved nutrient uptake also makes the plant more tolerant to an overly-wet substrate.
Bio Roots and Bio Crop work together synergistically, i.e. they reinforce each other's behaviour. We recommend that you use them in conjunction with each other.
